My Story

I have always had a flair for the creative and from a very young age have enjoyed making things

  • Background: I am a creative maker and entrepreneur who specialises in creating unique furnishings out of reclaimed timber. My business, Bumbles Furnishings, reflects my passion for bees, with many of my projects featuring a little wooden bee. I am dedicated to sustainability and the environment, using reclaimed materials to create beautiful and eco-friendly pieces.
  • Skills: My creativity and craftsmanship shine through in my work. I have honed my skills in woodworking and design, allowing me to bring my visions to life. My attention to detail and passion for bees are evident in the little wooden bees that I incorporate into my projects.
  • Passions: Bees hold a special place in my heart, particularly bumble bees. I am fascinated by their importance as pollinators and their role in maintaining biodiversity. Through my work, I aim to raise awareness about the importance of bees and their conservation. Additionally, I have a love for the outdoors and gardening, which inspires my creations and connects me to nature.
  • Values: I value sustainability, creativity, and the natural world. I believe in the power of craftsmanship and design to make a positive impact on the environment. By using reclaimed timber and incorporating bees into my work, I strive to create pieces that are not only beautiful but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
Did you know that the shape of a bumble bee is not ergonomically made for flying but because they don’t know that they fly anyway! They symbolise that, if you believe, you can accomplish the impossible!

Welcome to Bumbles Furnishings.
